Oh my goodness - what have I done???

Thought I'd just show you a couple of photos of work on the kitchen.  It's coming on/down..............!!!This is what it looks like from one particular view point.  Much as ever was, please note door hanging off hinge although to be honest if it looked as good as this photo appears to make it, I might have saved my money!!  But just to give you the rest of the story................ So it is going to be very different!.  You might be wondering where everything is.  Don't worry.  We still have it................Mainly in the sitting room, my bedroom and the study/craft room.  And yes, that is a microwave sitting behind the sofa.  Oh yes, and that's Monty's bed.  (He doesn't much approve of all the goings-on as you can imagine!)

So here's to another successful day.  I need to re-sort this lot over the next few days.  We have a month's grace before they remove the units and I would like my lounge back for some of that time - especially as I have a visitor or two before then!

Have a good day!

((hugs)) Sally while you put up with the builders. They have left their work area quite clean considering they are back today to do more - I am sure you will have the lounge back to order in no time and in a month or so will have a gorgeous new kitchen! xx

looks like the kitchen is starting to take shape Sally and it will be lovely when it's all finished. Think of the 'before and after LO' that you will be able to do! Love, Bev/Bubbleblittxx

It reminds me of 2 years ago -I managed to survive on a 'stand pipe' style tap (cold water only) in the utility area and an oven on the floor in the 'kitchen'for about three weeks at one point. The best bit is that it's all worth it in the end and the chaos becomes a slightly hazy, dim memory. Good luck!

Good luck with the renovations, sounds like the builders are a good crew. Worth all the effort and upheaval though (although I dont expect it feels that way at the moment!)

All looks very different from the last time I saw it Sally!!

I am sure when its finished it will look wonderful and all the mess and upheaval will be a dim and distant memory.

Wow......it's looking fab already, bet you can't wait for the real work to get underway - LOL!!!!! I'm sure Monty will get used to the comings and goings soon enough, as will you...........a little bit of disorganisation for a whole lotta lovliness is a small price to pay - can't wait to see it finished, and come and quilt/have coffee in it.......see you at the weekend xx
